As a certified Pet Scent Detection Instructor with UK Sniffer Dogs UK, my journey has been deeply rooted in a lifelong passion for dogs and their training. Since childhood, I've possessed a natural affinity for working with canines, particularly in the realm of training. This affinity has not only shaped my personal life with several beloved dogs but also propelled me into a role where I've been able to assist and advise family and friends seeking guidance with their pets. Among my most notable achievements was training my first dog, a German Shepherd, to an exceptional standard across various disciplines including agility, criminal work, and public displays. This experience ignited my interest in formal canine training methodologies, leading me to pursue and successfully complete the Bronze Level UK Sniffer Dogs scent detection instructor course last November. One of my key strengths lies in problem-solving, a skill honed through practical experience and professional training. Moving forward, I am eagerly preparing to advance to the Silver and Gold levels within UK Sniffer Dogs UK. These milestones represent not only personal growth but also a commitment to enhancing my expertise in scent detection training, ultimately enabling me to make even greater contributions to the field and the lives of dogs and their owners alike.

Personalized 1-2-1 Training Sessions
At A.M.D K9, we are thrilled to offer personalized 1-2-1 training sessions, tailored to meet your specific needs and schedule. These sessions are designed to provide the same high-quality training as our workshops, with the added benefit of individualized attention for you and your dog. Flexible Scheduling and Convenient Venues We understand the importance of flexibility, which is why we offer 1-2-1 sessions both on weekends and during the week. If you have a day off during the week, we can accommodate your schedule to ensure you get the training you need. Our training sessions can be held at two excellent venues: Session Details Duration: A package deal of 2 -3 sessions, each lasting 1 to 1.5 hours. Hands-On Training: Engage in personalized, hands-on activities with expert guidance tailored to your dog's needs. Events
We're excited to provide details about our upcoming UK Sniffer Dogs bronze level scent taster session. The Bronze taster session is open to all dogs and handlers, with no previous experience or even a basic level of obedience required. In fact, dogs with no previous training seem to excel the quickest in scent detection! This class is great for working breeds and high energy dogs as it offers a quick way to calm them down. We also have a lot of success with reactive dogs attending this as a group class. It's great for reactive or nervous dogs as it makes them feel calm, which is an essential part of them being better able to cope with social interactions. The session will last approximately 1 hour and is open to any dog, any breed, and any age. The class size is small with 4-5 dogs, so I can provide you and your dog with more personal support.Read More

Really enjoyed the scent course. Its a great course ideal for bonding with your dog. The course is well structured and run at a pace which suits everyone. The small classes enable the instructor to help 1.1 which is perfect. Its a course that is perfect for everyone..i cant praise the instructor enough. I will definitely be doing further classes.

Completed the bronze sniffer dog training a few weeks ago. Trainer was friendly and very knowledgeable breaking down the techniques in to easy to follow steps. The training is more about training you to allow your dog to do something that is natural to the but give you the opportunity to build a bond and engage their mind. I would highly recommend. Thanks once again we've continued daily to use the skills we learnt and are looking for to the next stage
